I am heading to Fairfax for a huge Latin concert this summer and was wanting to hit up some night clubs after.

Can someone give me the lowdown on the scene? I heard Fairfax is lacking and one needs to go to a near by city / town.

I am not really big into the bar scene. Looking for place that plays top40 or a Latin club.

Thanks

Seconding kww. You want to go to DC.

Check out Citron or Salsa room, both are really nice.

Also, Lima Lounge has Latin nights on Fridays. Usually a pretty good scene.

I haven't heard of any Latin clubs in Fairfax. There is La Hacienda in Springfield, but from the outside it kinda has a seedy vibe to it.

DC is your destination!

Appears I might have to go to DC.

Citron and Salsa room what is the scene there? Mostly older nicer crowd dancing salsa? I enjoy those but I am looking for a more rugged atmosphere with a young crowd that plays a lot of reggaetton and bachata with a splash of salsa, merengue, and cumbia.

Usually I have to go to more "seedy" clubs / areas to find Latin clubs places I like.

None of the joints I mentioned have a rugged feel to em. I do not know a lot about Latin music, but at Citron the music is a lot of salsa mixed with contemporary Latin music (prob the best way I could define it) and Lima (Friday nights) they play more of the contemporary stuff.

Crowd is mostly young, lots of lovely ladies
