Hey, any business taking over a large empty retail space is to be congratulated. I hope some similar tenant might be found for the former Magruder's in Seminary Plaza in Alexandria.

I had heard that Mrs Green's was coming, however there is a sign that on the empty store that has the sign for CHOPT. It's apparently a salad place.

Agree, that's been empty for too long (although I miss Magruders for the produce and the good prices)

We discussed this news on this board already (although it was somewhat buried) in this thread:
Reston to Tysons Commute . It appears that both Mrs. Greens and Chop't are moving in. Look at the shopping center directory - it lists them both. I believe they are splitting the Magruder's store.

We were wondering how a salad place could take up that whole space.. But now I wonder how a grocer can fit in 1/2 or 3/4 of that space.. Vienna has a lot of supermarkets already so it'll be interesting to see if it survives.
