Reinstate suspended driving license
Hi All,
I was in Virginia for 1.5 years and just recently moved to California. I got a ticket for expired state inspection in Sep. end and just forgot about paying that before I relocated to California on Oct 12. I frded my mails to my friend's address in California since I was still looking for an apartment here.
I recently checked my mails and found that my driving privileges in Virginia have been suspended and I have to pay some fees to instate that and also appear in person and provide proof of address and get a new license issued.
My Question is:
It says that I have to go to the local DMV in person and get a new license issued and give proof of residence. Now that I have moved to California, can I go to the local California DMV after I pay the reinstatement fees?
