Hi! So I am looking for a teaching assistant job and I saw a listing for one in Lovettsville, VA. I live in Leesburg. I just sent off my resume, but I was curious as how the commute would be? I've never been there but googlemaps said about 30 minutes. Does that sound right? I was working in Reston before and it took me about an hour each way (taking the 7). My hours would be 8am to 2:15pm.
Thanks!

I would suggest driving the route a couple of mornings/afternoons and see what you think. Route 15 certainly has had problems and there are not many easy alternatives. Bad weather could also impact as those are two lane roads that are heavily traveled.

I drove out there at 4pm today for my interview and at 5pm on the way back. I live right off the 15 so I was only on the 15 for 1.5 miles before going onto the 9 (I live right next to Rust Nature Sanctuary). It took me with a little traffic about 20-25 minutes and only 15 minutes on the way home with no traffic. It's 14 miles from door to door. Not too bad
