Hello - I am new to this forum and I hope someone can give me some information about options for parking when living in a Skyline Square condominium, 5505 Seminary Rd., zip code 22041. Our condo came with one parking space, but we have two cars. Is any free parking space available close by? If I understood correctly, guest parking is off limits for people who live here. If you are/have been in a similar situation, please advise. Thank you!

I work near there and used to cut through the neighborhood directly across Seminary; that neighborhood (at least along Magnolia and nearby streets) is not zoned resident-only. It would be a little inconvenient to cross Seminary, but it's not that far and could work in a pinch.

I have a friend who lives there and it is a huge PITA to use their guest parking. It is strictly patroled and you better have the guest parking placard (issued for a specific date and time) in your window. You will get towed, if you don't.

Thanks. Yes, I know they are strict about guest parking.

Did you ask the Condo association, or whoever, what to do about 2nd cars? Were you aware of one car policy before moving in?

Good question. Thanks. Yes, we did. We were told there would be people interested in renting out their parking space and we should check the bulletin board in the lobby. However, only one offer was available and the contact number was incorrect. We'll keep looking. When we first looked at these condos, some came with 2 assigned parking spaces and we assumed that these assigned parking spaces were for indoors parking and that there would be additional parking space available outside somewhere. The guest parking, for instance was almost empty each time we came to visit, so we didn't think much of it, to be honest.
