Moving to Northern Virginia soon I need suggestions of apartments Vienna or other locations where singles would live not families. Safe nice apartments with professional people.

lol Carlington, be nice.

Angelta, the community needs to know what kind of budget you're working with in order to make a recommendation.

Any apartment within a quarter mile of the orange line. Pretty sure they kick people out of those apartments on their 30th birthday.

If the apartment building is near the Pentagon Metro station, odds are that it is a reasonably-to-very safe area; after all, a lot of Pentagon employees likely live nearby.

I would have thought the Boston metro would be more expensive than greater Washington. Nonetheless, even your top range would provide you with limited options for managed apartment complexes in Arlington. (Searching for private owners may yield a few more results.)

As already suggested, apartments on or near Arlington's section of the Orange Line Metro tend to be extremely popular with younger professionals and the rental prices reflect that. If you are willing to take your budget to split a 2BR with someone else - a very frequent choice for fellow younger professionals - you may be able to live right on the Orange Line with the lifestyle that you seek.

I second Tone's suggestion.

1100-1500 in a 2 or 3br will get you a pretty nice bedroom in a 3BR or 2BR apartment near the Orange line. And while this may be me being naive, I think you'll find a lot of the late 20 early 30s kind of crowd you desire.

With that budget...Old Town Alexandria is also an option, so long as you're willing to accept roommates. You may find more success there.
