I will be moving to NOVA soon and I am considering moving into Avalon at Arlington Square on S. Glebe/26th South St in Arlington. Safety is my main concern, and I wanted to see if anyone on this forum know about this apartment community. Is the community/neighborhood safe for a single woman and are there any things I should consider before I sign the lease. I'd appreciate any info/help.

Thank you.

Hi, I'd check out www.apartmentratings.com (if you just google "apartments in arlington, va" you'll see it). I just scrolled the reviews and they look OK ... I mean, I'd take some of it with a grain of salt. People who submit reviews can't always distinguish real issues from annoyances. I should know that location, but I haven't lived in Arlington in many years, so I'm blanking ...

I am always in the arlington square area besides the towing problem. You cant park anywhere without checking if it is ok to park. If it looks like you cant park dont. Otherwise it is a safe area to live in.
