Um, the nearest Metro stop to Culpeper is Vienna/Fairfax on the Orange line...which is approximately 55 miles away from Culpeper. The Franconia-Springfield stop is on the blue line, and that stop is approximately 68 miles away from Culpeper.

I hope it wasn't your intent to commute in from Culpeper by way of Metro? (perhaps you mean VRE?)

no, I have a job offer in Culpeper and live in Richmond. I have wanted to move to DC/NOVA for awhile now, that is way too far. Thanks

I live in Culpeper and commute to DC. The metro stop you would use isn't the Springfield one, the closest is in Fairfax off of I-66. You would go north Rt.29 to I-66 East. I work nights and it takes me about 1hour 20 minutes to get to/from work. But remember, i work nights. Working days it takes closer to 2 hours both ways.

Barley, yes, it is too far, especially during rush hour traffic.
