I am still on a hunt for the right fit for schools for our 4 children. I was wondering if since Kettle Run High School is in the Fauquier County school zone but close to the PWC zone if there were a middle school my 7th grader could attend while my high school junior attended Kettle Run?

So essentially living in an area that will allow one to go to Kettle Run while another attends a middle school in PWC.

Ive looked at various zoning maps for the school districts but cant seem to figure out the answer. My next step would to be actually contact a school district or even a real estate agent im thinking!

Thanks for any help if it can be offered!

I don't know of any circumstance that allows one to attend an out of county school without paying for it

So you want to live in PWC, and have your younger child attend your local PWCPS middle school, but your older child attend a FCPS High school? Fauquier county would require you to pay tuition for your high schooler, as well as provide your own transportation. I'm not sure how much tuition would be...but they have their "per pupil costs" on their website so I would guess that would be a good starting point Finance and Budget - Average Per Pupil Costs
