I see occasional articles from Washington Biz Journal.

Is there another source for commercial real estate developers plans

I live near Bailey's Crossroads

Thanks

The Washington Post has a "What's Going Where" feature of the Thursday "Living" section. I'm old-school, and I get the print issue, but below is the link. Hope this helps!!!

Google Bailey's General Plan. It'll give you everything you want to know. If you can't find it let me know ;-)

Fellow Mason District resident here - I live a couple of miles from Bailey's. These are my sources for upcoming capital projects:

Mason District Website - Land use
Mason District Land Use Committee agenda*- Fairfax County, Virginia

The entire Fairfax County website has a lot of information on it.

The Annandale Blog is a GREAT source - it covers the entire Mason district
Annandale VA

Recent land use development in Bailey's - the Board of Supervisors deferred a vote on Bailey's Gateway Project until later this month. I suspect it will be approved.

Annandale VA: Board of Supervisors defers vote on Spectrum shopping center

I try to be active in community meetings, public hearing, and local message boards. Development in Seven Corners and Bailey's has been contentious, to say the least.

Upcoming Bailey's Crossroad related meetings:

Tuesday, March 17
Bailey's Crossroads Revitalization Corporation
7:30 p.m, Main Community Room
Mason District Governmental Center

Well, none of his 6 posts since joining this month have been very helpful or constructive. And yes, some were nonsensical.

The best place to get information is via fairfax county's public plan documents. You can get a lot of information online alone

Land Development System - Application Name - Fairfax County, Virginia

Whether they have the actual site plan online is usually hit or miss, but you can get the overall plan level (plan to build 200,000sf of commercial 6-story etc). You can also get the plan number from there and go to Fairfax County's Gov Building (the Herrity Building) and pull the plans to see it if you are so inclined.
