Default Congestion on HWY 28 and HWY 17??

I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a lot of traffic congestion on HWY 17 running from Fredericksburg to HWY 28 and then from HWY 28 around Bealeton into Herndon, Va? Thanks for any and all responses.

Exclamation I-28 / I-29

It's if full of commuters during rush hour on 28 Bealton to Manassas. Same rings true 29/17 Opal to Gainsville.

But one day when I'm governor of the Federal Republic of NOVA . . .

. . . drivers who fail to yield "SLOW traffic right, Passing traffic left" would be drawn and quartered on 10 pm news

. . . both routes would be renamed A-28 / A-29 and repaved as 8 lane autobahns.

. . . prohibit tractor trailer traffic from the <I-95 - Rt 17 - I-81> bypass.

. . . BAN NASCAR which will lead to my impeachment

Don't know about the whole route, but Rt. 28 between Rt. 7 and Dulles Airport has a lot of construction going on right now. People slow down to deal with lane changes and because the construction trucks move slowly. Also, lately I've seen patrol cars parked in a few hidden places, so people are probably slowing down and driving within the speed limit.

If you are driving Rt. 28, beware turning east on Frying Pan Road. There have been a few nasty accidents there. Better to drive a little more and take the next turn.

Default Fauquier's Population Jumps 18 Percent

Fauquier's Population Jumps 18 Percent

quote:

The region's rapid growth, particularly evident in Prince William and Culpeper counties, will affect Fauquier, Nyhous said.

"We're going to have more traffic," said the supervisor, who met last week with Culpeper County Administrator Frank T. Bossio to discuss an array of issues of mutual interest to both counties, including transportation.

end quote:

Unless you have been living in a cave, the traffic
is already here!

YOU got my vote if you make rt 7... A-7 and run the metro right along the side!
