those machines where you use your own weight to lose weight/build musles. I had a membership in L.A. Fitness in Pittsburgh and I basically was doing workouts with this machine where its a bunch of ropes and basically used my own weight to build musle.

Have you checked out Equinox on Leesburg Pike? It is pricey but everyone I know likes it there. You can probably get a guest pass and check out the equipment and facilities yourself. They have a website, just Google the name and 'Vienna'.

Which LA fitness did you go to? The one at Springfield Town Center is brand new. The one on Rt. 50 is an old Bally's that is a dump and needs to be completely gutted/redone, but they keep it open because it still draws business.

yeah I saw 24 hr has it, so now I need to check out WSC. I hope they have it because I don't feel like spending that much at 24 hr for the same thing at WSC (if they have that TRX as you folks say that's what it is)

Check out a Golds Gym too. The one at Seven Corners is bad but the rest in the area are good to great depending on which you choose. I avoid the one in Merrifield because of parking but it is a good gym.
