Searching for quality Sake Stores and/or Izakayas Restaurants (Annandale: living in, food)

I've been living in coastal virginia for nearly 7 months and have been unsuccessful finding any japanese stores (korean, or otherwise) which carry a selection of sake with quality above warm sake or nigori. If you avidly drink daiginjo or junmais, you know what i'm talking about, and out here on the penninsula, it just doesn't exist (or i haven't found it yet). I've been ordering from California for the last few weeks, but due to shipping, I'd rather by locally and talk to the purveyors face to face. Anyone know of places like that up in NOVA? thank you.

You will likely find them in NoVa's Korean-owned but multi-ethnic Asian grocery stores such as H Mart, Super H Mart, or Lotte Plaza.

Another option is to call one of the izakaya joints in NoVA/DC and they may be able to guide you. Here are the ones i know of:

The food is good and the place is accessible using Metrorail. Plus they say they carry 40 different sakes.

Admittetly, I am no expert on sake quality, but have you tried Total Wine? They seem to have a variety. There is one in Fredericksburg (and also other NoVA locations.)
