For the most part, crime is low throughout Northern VA. The schools here are great. I have two children of my own (4 & 3) and can't think of a better place to raise them.

being a former Fairfax Co. Public Schools student, I would have to say that the school system shines and offers many opportunities for its students. Those include language immersion programs in elem school and academy programs in High school.
