I tried locating this information on the Arlington public schools website but couldn't find anything conclusive. It sounds like the schools are redrawing their boundary lines, but I'm not sure they've released any new maps, or exactly when these changes would take effect. Has anything concrete been decided about this? And as I look at houses for sale, is there any way to know which school districts will apply to a particular address for the next few years?

Thanks, everyone!

I don't think anything has been approved yet but the school superintendent has made his official recommendations(Arlington Public Schools | News Releases (http://www.apsva.us/15401082104136983/blank/browse.asp?a=383&BMDRN=2000&BCOB=0&c=57333 - broken link)

)

Only elementary schools are impacted and the vast majority of students are unaffected. If you're in a north Arlington school then you'll stay in a north Arlington school. Some of the specialized classes have been shifted around (Montessori, Special Ed., etc.) and the cluster school options have been restricted.

Thank you, arlingtonChris, this is very helpful.

The superintendent mentions an attached spreadsheet and map, but only the spreadsheet is included. Following your link helped me to find the map too, which I've included below in case anyone finds it useful.

Will Arlington County High Schools be redistricted after the 2010 census data is finalized?
