In Tysons Corner? I don't know. Not that many people actually live in Tysons versus the tens of thousands that work there.

In Vienna city proper? I know they have Jammin Java.

I used to stop by the "Vienna Inn" for a chili dog and a beer.

Vienna has Jammin Java, Caffe Amouri, the Vienna Inn, the Soundry, Amphora, and a few other places open at 9-10pm. Not much, but not entirely lacking.

Tysons on the other hand will need some nightlife if the Tysons 20XX plan is going to get fully implemented and Tysons transforms from a office park into the second city of the DMV.

It was under the radar, but the Hilton McLean had a fantastic jazz nightclub on Fridays and Saturdays (no cover charge) for the past 7 years or so. Hundreds of people would go to listen to some of the best local talent out there. Unfortunately, it closed for renovations about 2 weeks ago and it's future as a nightclub is uncertain.

And slightly more upscale is Bazins on Church and Church Street Cellars. There's not a whole lot, but there are a few places.

lol!

VA would never allow it. tysons is a liberal office hut. This town is strickly for the business man or women. Tysons is just a giant HIVE, filled with worker bees or workaholics.

go drive to MD if you want fun.... or further north.

I don't know if some of you old-timers remember when Tyson's Corner was alive with nightclubs, but I remember the following dance clubs: E-City, Studebaker's, Tropics, Flamingo's, Teddy's, American Cafe (upstairs), and even the Crown Plaza and The Westpark hotels had dance clubs. I probably forgot a few. I think a nightclub would do very well in Tyson's. Marketing surveys I've seen reveal a very young demographic for the workforce in the neighborhood, but the more I think about it, the more I wonder if the under 30 crowd even dances anymore.
