So my grandmother passed and we inherited her end unit townhome. Its a 1973 all-brick, flat roof townhome that was the model for the neighborhood. I like the design of it, and its very well built - but what do you guys think about the neighborhood? My grandmother was the original owner and she liked the street.

I can't comment specifically on The Timbers, but West Springfield in general features established family-friendly neighborhoods with good housing stock (both townhomes and single family homes), above average schools, low crime, and reasonable commuting times to D.C. and other major employment centers (both military and civilian) around northern Virginia.
