Just moved into a condo and the place is filled with these bugs. I know the pic isn't great, but any ideas?

Nope..not a silverfish...but I think it's in the family! We have them, too....they are SO GROSS! When you smack them, the legs fall off and they leave a "smear", just like a silverfish. In Va. Beach, we had silverfish, and they do NOT look like these gross insects! Silverfish are actually silver colored and don't have all those legs!

Spray around the base of your house on a regular basis....you can get them under control.

We live in a very wooded section, with a stream...I think the most, shaded area is what they like.

They won't hurt you, but they suck big time! If you see one inside, grab the vacuum and suck them up...won't leave a smear on walls!!!

Yuck, can't add anything - they are not silverfish and I thank goodness I haven't seen any of those - have enough issues w/centipedes which doesn't make sense since there is no dampness. I hate to think about using chemicals but seriously thinking about having some kind of service spray/treat/whatever - I can't stand those things.

That's not what we have...they have MULTIPLE LEGS and a symetrical, long body, but that same lengthwise striping..not what you're showing on the firebrat photo! The stripes on the supplied photo run lengthwise...not horizontally.
