East Falls Church Metro Orange line good or bad neighborhood in terns of safety and crime?
I will be using the E Falls Church Metro Orange Line to head into DC and was wondering if this is in a good part of town in terms of safety and are there any stops on the Metro lines that are considered poor areas due to criminal activity. thanks so much for your help.

The Orange Line is pretty much exclusively good neighborhoods. I think I can say that more strongly that in Virginia it's all good and even in DC it's good. I used to take the Orange Line from Courthouse (Arlington) and later would sometimes take West Falls Church or Vienna.

I used to live near the EFC station in Arlington, using the station to commute to work downtown. I walked alone at all hours, and never felt unsafe. It is an upper-middle class community, for the most part, with virtually no commercial area, and LOTS of other people walking, busing, driving, and biking to the metro.
Your biggest problem will be finding a place to park in the EFC lot, if it's too far to walk.

Amen to that. It might be worth it to drive to the West Falls Church station if you are going during rush hour. They have a larger parking facility.

Hmmm. It's definitely close enough to walk, but Interstate I-66 is between the motel and the metro. I cannot remember whether there is a sidewalk on the part of Lee Highway that crosses the bridge. You might call and ask them specifically whether it is possible to walk to the station.
