I've lived in the city of Manassas as well as the adjacent county since 1977 and in Prince William county since 1955 so am very familiar with the area. Manassas Park has become an hispanic haven. Moderator CutIn the post-war era it was young families living in small cape cods. In the 1970s and 80s it really went down hill fast and became a true blue collar town. Then in the last 10 years the hispanics moved in because of the low prices relative to the rest of the area. About the only way values will go up there is if they demolish the whole town west of Rt28 and start over again. You'll love the great trailer park on the N side of town down by Bull Run. About the only part of town worth anything is the newer development E. of the railroad tracks inhabited mostly by commuters taking the VRE into town. Don't waste you money investing it in MP.
