Please don't humor our CD jokester. He's been a troublemaker for a long time now.

Whether the object of the showering is brides or babies, two words come to mind:

Car wash.

That is not asking for a reason. Obviously the reason for a baby shower is a baby.

Regardless, when people post something on the internet, they have to assume they will receive all kinds of answers. I don't see the point of you getting bent out of shape about what others are saying, anyway. I don't see anything harsh here, and assuming she's a grown-up, I'm sure she can defend herself and answer questions on her own behalf if she chooses.

Dec. 24 is the perfect date for a baby shower. After all, what do you think the Three Wise Men were doing for the baby Jesus?

Mary: "OMG, Balthasar, this frankincense is SO CUTE!"

Melchior: "That's nothing! Did someone say 'solid-gold binky' ?!?"

I'm still just wondering why asking such a simple question could invoke responses that put her in the position of having to defend herself.

This might be a person that had a 500 invitee wedding.

What's wrong with having a 500 - invitee wedding?
