just re fi with 1st Empire Financial at 5.375, 30 year fixed with no closing cost.

I would go with andyk@1stEmpireFinancial.com

Refer me and you will get $300 off at closing. That is how I got $300 off on my closing.

Hmmm, my work firewall blocks 1stempire saying it's a malicious website. Makes me wonder why...

I am seeing par pricing around 5.375%.
METLIFE, at least they did back in January when we locked in our rate of 4.875% for 30 year fixed!

Why did you try to go into 1stempire website?
I tried to go into
1st Empire Financial - Home
and it worked.
I should have tried that site out before closing but I think everything went well since the closing title company told me I should expect statement within 1 month or 2. I think the mortgage company was division of that financial company. Either way, it worked out for me. I wish I could have gotten 4.75 like the other person.
Can you tell me where you got it since I have heard I can re fi again if it goes down. I am thinking about re fi already and I just closed.
Oh well. At least I didn't have to pay anything yet, actually that is not true, the closer told me I had to pay escrow minus referer bonus.

it seems like we closed about the same time. Can you tell me which company you used? I feel I got ripped off.
Do you think I can get referer bonus discount if I refer you?
I am thinking about re-fi if it is 4.75.

We have done two mortgages with Terry Schenck at Prosperity Mortgage in Fairfax. He was awesome. Everything was smooth as silk. He did our latest, 4.75% rate on a 30 year fixed.

5.25% 30yr/fixed, no points. Be careful of some of those teaser rates from builders. Make sure you look at the APR and not just the rate.

When did you get 4.75% with no points? I have been tracking rates daily since January and ever since about the 2nd week of January rates have been at least 5% with no points.

Oh, sorry, you are right. We paid one point. Sorry that I forgot to include that.
