How is the YMCA branch in Reston? Is it nice? Clean? Well-maintained? Has anyone used the childcare there while taking classes? We are moving to the area and are looking for places to go workout, swim, etc. The Y in our former city was phenomenal, but I know not all areas have up-to-date facilities.

I don't know anything about the Y, although I see a lot of cars there so I'd guess it's popular. If you live or work in Reston you are entitled to use the Community Center. I understand the indoor pool there is very nice.

I have been a member of the Reston Y for over 3 years now and love it. The place is clean and the pool is very nice. They have some great classes but the timing never worked for me since I couldnt leave work until 6 PM. No kids so I dont know about the Day Care.
I love their indoor track... it's always an option if the other cardio equipment is too busy!! |
