Hello

We live in Old Town Alexandria, but all of our favorite high schools for a child are in DC. We are looking at Field School, Edmund Burke and some others. They are all in a similar area depressingly.

How bad is that commute in the am? Are we talking an hour? Or just 30 min?

Thanks so much!

is there a city bus that goes straight into one of those school areas?

I know at least one of those schools has a shuttle bus but maybe not the others.

Thanks!

I would say 45 mins - 50 mins usually. He could take Metro to the second location.

Generally, private schools can provide you with this information. You wouldn't be the only one from the area most likely so they can share the options whether it is a private shuttle, public bus, or the names of other people in your area so you can set up a carpool.

That's true thanks so much guys. I know one school has a shuttle system which is great. I'll look into further if any public buses go there.

thanks so much!
