Assad is a bad guy. Who isn't in that part of the world? Or even the rest of the world? None of our business. Yes, we are still supporting the rebels against Assad. ISIL is among the rebels. If they're not now, they will be if they succeed. Whoever replaces him will be ten times worse. Trust me, the whole situation is going to get worse before it gets better, and I doubt American troops will hit the ground in Syria, but we'll keep funneling money and weapons to them. Do you really think that will end in a Hillary presidency? Do you think the companies that have funded her campaign are going to NOT profit from it?

I'm seeing lots of Trump ads on TV, so his presence is ever with us here in Virginia in at least that way.

I wonder if people will have to stand up the whole time?

Did you go, Lynchburg Lover? If so, how was it? (I'm using the past tense because I figure that if you planned to go, you wouldn't see this post until after the rally.)

Said repeatedly, not that big a Trump fan. I'm an anti-Hillary voter.

Update: Didn't go to rally but did go westbound on Route 7 passing Leesburg and Route 9 -- very heavy traffic, bumper-to-bumper. Backed up on Route 7 and exit to Route 9, all the way across bridge of Route 9. Route 9 and Colonial Highway are all backed up. Parking at commuter lot is filled -- running shuttle, I assume. This was all about 7:15ish.

Another update: The Fire Marshall stopped admittance to the building at 2,200. Reports are about 2,000 or so left standing outside. Cars were overflowing the fairgrounds lot and parked on Dry Mill, Route 9 and Colonial Highway. There was also overflow parking at Loudoun County HS and many walked the 2 or so miles in the total darkness on the W&OD to get to the fairgrounds. Delays meant Trump didn't get there until midnight but apparently, very few left early.

We'll find out tomorrow what it means.

Another update: Per Washington Examiner (I know, right-wing blah blah but they've not been supportive of Trump), capacity of building was 2,200 but closer to 5,000 squeezed in with very large crowd still outside.
