Herndon to Lorton Commute
I currently live in Herndon, VA and I am looking at a job in Lorton, VA. I know it's about a thirty minute drive without traffic, but I'm wondering what it would be like during morning and evening rush. I'd be taking FFX Cty Pkwy all the way down to 123 and staying on that for a few miles. It's an easy drive and I know the parkway is a parking lot at rush going the opposite directions, but I have no clue if the southern commute ever has traffic.
Does anyone out there make this commute currently? I know if I lived closer to the city and just hopped on 95 going south it would be a quick and easy drive, but I can't seem to find anyone out my way who does this drive.
Any info would be helpful. Thanks.
