In Baltimore, there are multiple locations but none on the Virginia side. Location selected is woodbridge near IKEA, mall, and hobby lobby.

Mission BBQ to open near Hobby Lobby in Woodbridge

I went to the one in Stafford last year. Not to be a downer, but my party of 3 didn't have a good night after that.

Was a soft opening tonight in Fairfax (Greenbriar Shopping Center). Opens permanently on Monday

We had it, wasn't bad. My wife liked it more than I did.

There has been one in Winchester for some time now. It's good but not great. I did like their brisket. They do a good job displaying military memorabilia.

New restaurant so there is a staff learning curve. I had samplers of the brisket (tender, moist, good flavor), BB ribs (tender but rub was so-so) and pulled pork (lightly smoked, no bark in my sample). 3 of the 6 samples of sauces had a spicy bite and the corn bread side was moist and tasty.

It is good to have viable take-out choices so close to the house

She picked it up for takeout, but said staff was very good. It was fine, but I prefer Willard's, Oklahoma Joe's or Urban BBQ

I have never even heard of this place.

There used to be a good BBQ place outside of Merrifield on 29 but it is gone now.

Now the only American BBQ place I like is Rocklands.
