I will check out the town over the next few wks.
I will probs teach in Loudoun and she will work in Herndon or Sterling. I am purely look at the house prices!! AMAZING!!!

look in leesburg for a MUCH better commute into Herndon or Sterling. Lovettesville would be a major headache.
I think you will like the vibe and feel of leesburg much better as well. If you find an interesting house let me know and I can let you know about the neighobrhood etc... There are a few not so great areas but by in large it's a nice town and has very good schools, preschools and daycare etc...

hI,
so if the folks are ok... You mention the traffic. My wife has felxibility in her job. She can start at different times.... She would take a Hghwy south till she hits the toll road. How long from Lovettsville till the Greenway? We are keen on the area, we will research the place.... Gainsville and other options are not working for us.... We refuse to leave off I66. Also we like other Fairfax or Loudoun county schools... Working in the school system I know these are the better schools in our area.

Watch HOA's too! Many people don't like being told or withheld from doing things with the property they are paying for. I know I don't and I won't go near one!

Greenway isn't the best way to get to Sterling. Rt 7 isn't the best way to get to Herndon. You need to settle on job locations before you investigate housing.

Thanks for the info.
My wife works in Herndon. I will probably be teaching in Loudoun or Herndon....
I plan on driving out to Lovettsville during the summer and clocking the time to both of our jobs... ANY MORE INPUT!! Would be great!!

You can't just clock the time. You have to do it during the commute times you will be traveling. Summer is not a good indication of commute times. Traffic is lighter when school is out during commuting times.

Hi there,
thanks for all your thoughts... We visited the place today. We spoke to a few residents... ALL VERY NICE! In the New Town Meadows. (The area we plan on buying in) Lots of Diversity several black families and a Latin families. Minorities in the streets playing games and having fun with other residents. We felt VERY welcome.... CHECK OUT THIS AREA.. The school system is also very good! We will go back..... To check into things further. We will check the commute prior to any move... We thought of LEESBURG...HOWEVER this area has GANG activity... We dont want to live with MS-13 and Latin Kings.
