Va. man sentenced to 132 years in prison for stealing tires | WTOP

He's scheduled to be tried in FFX and PW counties for similar crimes. I wonder if he was the guy who was hitting the Horner Rd commuter lot in Woodbridge. My carpool rode into the lot one day coming from work and one lady in my pool found her Suburban sitting on four milk crates. Wheels were gone.

This guy had two previous felony convictions. What a scumbag.

I may be the odd one out, but I don't see locking someone up for life because they stole wheels.
Especially when we can't manage to put child rapists away for more than 10 years.

Ayyyyy lmao.

They may have inflated his sentence due to a long wrap sheet. If he treads carefully, he might not do his full time.

Both should have an appendage chopped off. You can guess which one.

I can see your point, but at what point do you say, "Enough is enough." ? The guy already had two felony convictions under his belt. It's pretty clear that he will continue to do this kind of thing.

I can't be completely objective because I was with the lady when she saw that her wheels had been stolen at the commuter lot. I saw the look of misery in her face.

The news articles are all very click baity as he could have been sentenced ~20 years on each set of charges with them running concurrently or they added up the max time on each charge. The judge will actually sentence him in October. So he could be out again in 15 years with good behavior...but he still has to face similar charges in other counties and two prior felonies definitely do not help his case.
