I could be wrong, but I think this is an attempt to be a "Maryland is greater than Virginia" thread starter.

Then it failed, because clearly Fairfax has more than any other jurisdiction in the area, by far. That's objectively and subjectively true.

Oh you couldn't be more wrong, and why anyone would think that is beyond me.

If that's true I wasn't aware of it. Like I said I'm not familiar with parks in NOVA, and my intention wasn't to make Maryland seem better than NOVA. Again not sure how people got this out of my post.

Then why use the word "compete"? They aren't in competition to one another Did you mean to ask if NoVa had parks like those in MD?

You still need to say what you are looking for in a park:
Playground equipment?
Tot lot?
Fenced?
Free?
Walking trails?
Biking trails?
Boat rentals?
Camping?
Nature center?
Easy parking?
Large or small?
Soccer fields?
Baseball fields?
Basketball court?
Rentable pavilions?
Waterpark?
Splashpad?

Pretty much all those things except boat rentals and water parks. I was just curious if there was a park comparable to Watkins and Wheaton regional park.

I personally have no clue what those parks are like so you repeating that does not help. Clearly other people are having the same trouble.
There are lots of parks in NoVa. There are lots of great parks and good parks and big parks and small parks. You can check with the cities and the counties and the towns and the regional parks. You can even Yelp it or use AllTrails. Plenty of ways to find out for yourself

Lawd in heaven. Ok. I've never been to Watkins or Wheaton park, so please enumerate what is in those parks so I can give you comparables in Fairfax.
