According to their website, you must have the payment in by Dec 26.
Thanks for sharing the detailed info, and bumping this up for anyone else who might want to come down to the govt center on 12/26 to pre-pay 2018 property taxes!

How about a new property tax approach in answer to the new federal tax bill?

Slate magazine has an interesting proposal:
https://slate.com/news-and-politics/...w-tax-law.html

If interested, contact your local city/county government. I'm not sure what it would take to get Virginia to consider this proposal but if there is enough public interest, we have a chance of getting this accomplished at a local level.

I'm sorry that proposal is a bit of a stretch imo, not sure thats going to fly with the Feds. I don't care how you
dress it up.

Wah wah wah. Quite crying snowflakes. For those of you who voted for the orange one now you can continue to win bigly.

Sorry guys. I'm not usually so hateful but I'm selling off my rentals before the market tanks again under this disaster of a tax bill. It always amazes me that people are so impressed with a thousand dollar bonus which translates into about 20 bucks a week but turn a blind eye to the billions given to the corporations. Who's impressed with crumbs? I'm not.
