Thumbs down Communte from Arlington to Falls Church

I hear the traffic is bad and I'm relocating for a job in Falls Church. I have an option to move to Arlington (off 395/Glebe) 14 miles away from my job on gallows rd in falls church. How bad is the commute? will it take over 30min at 7am?

yea Rt. 7 Leesburg Pike should be a straight shot for you until you're in close to falls church. Theres a ton of back roads. use google maps and should be no problem.

It's bad, but 30 minutes sounds about right.

You can try Rt. 7/Leesburg Pike, but that means that you have to deal with the mess that is Seven Corners. I would try going straight north on Glebe to 50, where you don't have to stop for 7 corners, and from my limited experience 50 westbound in the morning isn't bad.
