The profile of Yorktown High is pretty similar to the high school my kids would have been going to, if we stayed in our current area.

What other areas would be close to stay from Ballston area, with good schools?
You're asking questions that are relative (such as high crime relative to what? good schools relative to what?). I realize you may not want to reveal more info, but I think it would be easier for Arlingtonians and others to reply with more useful information if you would tell us where you are living now. Also, what is your rental budget? What other attributes are you looking for?

North Arlington..top rated schools...very expensive to live! A studio runs $1500. Arlington has good schools...lets just put that to rest. However, North Arlington is where you want to be for the best schools and the most snobbish parents ever at those schools.
