Virginia vehicle registration renewal (credit card, DMV, vs)

My vehicle registration expires on 4/30/2018, and if I renew it for another two years this month, when will be the next expiration date? 4/30/2020 or 3/31/2020?

If renew online, is there additional charge for credit card payment?

It will keep the April expiration date.

There is an additional charge if you show up in person to renew.

Why don't you try and renew and see if there is a fee? Seems faster than to wait for people to answer here.

I don't wanna be charged additional fee, if there is a fee.

I prefer to use credit card for 2% cash back, if there is no fee.

So go and see on the DMV website. If there is a fee, then don't pay that way. Again, checking for yourself is a lot faster than asking here.

There's no fee to use a credit card/debit card. I do it all the time. You will save a $1.00 if you do two years over one year.
