I bought a new construction TH in Wellington subdivision of Manassas in 1995. It backed up to GeorgeTown South. Some kids tried to steal my dogs out of my backyard one day by lifting them over the 6 foot fence. They got away from the thieves and I found them wandering in the neighborhood. I was told later that they probably would have been used as "bait dogs" for training fighting dogs. They were 15lb Min Pins. We moved a year later. My next door neighbor had her car put on blocks and all her wheels stolen.

GTS has been the open wound in the City of Manassas for many years. Crack haven back in the crack days. There are still some old families still there and they want their old neighborhood back but I'm afraid it will always be known as the area to most avoid.
