Besides The Washington Post,

What local blogs, magazines, or newsletters are you using to stay up to date with what's happening in the Northern Virginia area?

Northern Virginia Magazine has up to date information about places and restaurants to visit.

For business information, I read the emails from Fairfax County Economic Development Authority and the Washington Business Journal.

Are there any other resources in the area to follow to stay up to date with the region?

Many neighborhoods now have the "Nextdoor" app, which I find useful for keeping up on news/issues affecting my immediate area of Fairfax County.

I read ArlNow regularly. I believe there are " -Now" analog pubs for Bethesda and maybe Reston. That and ABC7 are where I get most of my local news.

The Stun-Gazette comes in the mail (unbidden); we only look at the RE listings, and just for shock value. We also get Washingtonian. Or at least my wife does. There's an Arlington magazine as well, but for me it's overkill.

Rarely, I'll read Greater Greater Washington. I disagree with its perspective most of the time, but it's good for staying on top of what the pro-density Millenneratti are up to.

And then at the other extreme there's Nextdoor, which is kind of a strange conglomeration of harried mommies, retirees, a few trolls and random people looking for contractors.

What about blogs, newsletters, etc. that might appeal to young families and new parents in northern VA?
