Rogue Podiatrist Sought (versus, move, suburban)

Specifically, I'm looking for one who does minor surgeries in the office, versus in the hospital. I don't want the bureaucracy, logistical rigmarole or the surprise charges hospitals love to dish out.

Gross details: I have a tailor's bunion the size of your grandma's elbow. It's like Barbra Streisand peeking out from under my pinky toe.

I went to a podiatrist, but she wanted to remove it in the hospital. Not gonna happen. It's a minor procedure; if the derm can remove a mole in the office and the dentist can remove and install teeth in a suburban office park, then surely some enterprising foot doc can shave down my bunion with some local anasthesia. Hell, if a derm or a barber could get the job done without killing me, I'd be game.
