We are looking to buy a townhome in Reston and it seems that most properties in our price range fall into the boundaries of Dogwood Elementary. I heard that it is not a very good school. Is anyone's child enrolled in that school, can you please share your experience? Thank you!

Dogwood is a Title I school, which means high-poverty. It it one of only a few schools in Fairfax County that has failed to make adequate yearly progress on NCLB. Sixty-four percent of the students receive free or reduced-priced meals and 41% have limited English proficiency.

Welcome to Dogwood Elementary
