Lake Ridge or Manassas?
Hello,
MY husband and I recently moved here from the west coast. We are looking for a home to buy by the end of the year. We currently live in Lake Ridge, which is a wonderful area, but its hard to find single family homes in our price range. I was looking at Manassas and they have a lot of reasonably priced single family homes. However, I dont know much about manassas. I don't have any kids but that might chnage in the next 3 years. Someone please help and tell me which city would be best!!!???

I'd actually pick Gainesville personally. They have some really good housing prices right now as well.

I currently live in Lake Ridge and I am not sure what your price range is, but there are many bargains out there. As parents of a 4-year old, I will tell you that Lake Ridge is very family-friendly. Good luck.

out of the 2 Lake Ridge for sure. Its much nicer of an area. Closer to alot more things. Lake Ridge is also safer in my mind. Manassas can get shaddy. But if you look on the southern half of Prince William towards Nokesville, Gainesville, Aden, Brentsville. Those are all extremely nice areas with reasonable prices. It really does seem like you went many miles away when your back there. still has a good country feel and close to everything. Thats your best bet, but again out of the two, stick with lake ridge.

Those cities are more north Prince William County.
