Where do you live that it's not sticking? We have almost two inches covering our neighborhood streets in South Riding

I'm not actually in northern VA but in Silver Spring, MD. Granted, this is what I gather from looking outside at the parking lot, which could be because they heavily treated the parking lot. But it's not even accumulating in the grass yet. It only recently dropped to 31 degrees, though, per my cellphone app.

Edited to add: my job just canceled work!

Double edit: what a difference 30 minutes makes! It's definitely sticking in the parking lot now. About half and inch from what I can see.

From northeast Tennessee, we have a couple of inches on the gorund...driveways and streets just starting to show a slushy dusting. Snow seems to be tapering off....

So, you will have it for the next few hours up through Virgina. A nice little first snow of the season for people to remember what winter can bring forth.

Enjoy.

Looking at about 3 inches or so in Reston so far. Coming down really really hard though.

Yes, nothing more than people having to get out for nothing.

They drive bad enough when the sun's out and it's 80° but when the conditions are the way they are they still drive the same way and then getting an accident and wonder what the problem is.

Wow! Please send some of that down to the beach! It's super windy here and finally cooled off.

The ocean is a monster right now, I wish it would throw some snow at us!
Stay safe NOVA!
