Default Arlington schools and neighborhoods for single family

Hello,

I am looking for the most invaluable feedback on Arlington neighborhoods for single parent family. I have a teenager (16), and would like to live and put him in a safe, non-drug ridden, or thug environment. I now live in Cols. ,OH and live in a suburb that is rapidly changing with some of the wrong types. So I am interested in starting off with an aparment complex, or to renting (house/loft/apt) from a private owner. Nevertheless, a decent neighorhood until I can learn the area better. Please respond in regards to area and high schools.

Also, from some of the post it seems that this may not be a 30-something family oriented city?
