poly pipes?? (how much, house, moving)

offered on a home with poly plumbing...well located and has good potential but i am worried about the PB plumbing

have read horror stories about leaks and have heard it is best to get the piping replaced with copper. anyone have any scoop on this?

if so, any idea how much that generally costs. home is a town house with about 2000sf. just a ballpark idea would be helpful.

i am just trying to gauge whether this is even worth moving forward with....
