Hi... this forum has been so helpful in the past,so we here we go with another issue. We have finally chosen and purchased a townhome in Alexandria and will be moving in in late Oct. after moving down from CT. I will need to purchase furniture including a master bedroom set, guest room set, dining room table and probably two desks..all contemporary in style. I read info about several furniture stores in the area in other posts, but the one above seems most interesting. I am looking for anyone who has ever dealt with them...Did you go to Farmville or did Manassas have enough for you to select from? Do they really have a wide selection of contemporary stuff? (In CT, it is very difficult to find anyone with any real selection of contemporary furniture) How were prices and service? What kind of a charge would I expect for delivery? I will need the master bedroom set delivered as we move in so we have something to sleep on. How soon before should I purchase it? Any help will be appreciated. I did email the store and have yet to get an answer.

I have been to and purchased from the Farmville Greenfront Store many times. You can spend a week there going through all of the buildings. Great selection, prices, service and delivery. I would imagine the Manassas store would have similar high standards.

I went to the Greenfront in Manassas a few months ago. It is a huge store and they do have a big selection. You asked about contemporary furniture, which is usually what I like, and when I was there I didn't see too much of that style. I heard though that their selection changes often and they are always getting new stuff in. I've never been to the location in farmville. I bought most of my furniture at Belfort in Sterling off of rte 28. They have a large selection also with a lot of contemporary/modern stuff. Good luck!

If you do a search for Green Front on this board, there are several postings about it that will give you more information.

The key to Green Front is the furniture is constantly changing and often you need to be prepared to buy at that time, because it may not be there if you go back later.

question for you all about greenfront

i looked at your website and the stores are intriguing.

for a mid-level quality couch/sofa, what do the prices run?
same for a square dining table?

i am just wanting to understand the pricing there before heading all the way to farmville.

thanks.

Unfortunately couldn't even give you a clue. They have so many brands that you never know what you are going to find or the price.
