Red face Crime/Schools in Bristow,Gainsville,Manassas,-M-Park?

Hello everyone,
My husband and I are in the search for our new home/townhome; which ever is in our budget.
Currently, we live in Culpeper and would like to venture out towards the north side instead. * would not like to put all our eggs in one basket, kinda thing.

Having said that, we realize that would mean to settle for a townhome of some sort- our budget is 300k- below.
Ideally, we would like to move back to the west coast. For now, we dont want to keep on paying money towards something that is not ours.

So- if anyone has any input on schools, crime and location- I would certainly appreciate it!!!!

As you all know,
Location is the most important factor in buying/selling a home.
Although you can get more for your buck in Culpeper, we have come to realize that its school system is way off the charts in terms of funding and so forth- not to mention all the foreclosures...

Will wait for your replies- many thanks....

back side/rural Prince William is amazing. The schools having just graduated from one 3 years ago and now teaching are very well funded throughout bristow and gainesville. The prices now with the market are affordable and there is a community called either Victory or Victoria Lakes that has amazing town houses for well under your budget. There is alot of hiddne gems back in the woods along bristow road and aden road. And then schools honestly cant be beat. I love that area. I live just outside the line on the northern side of 234, but have a house that i rent out on the southern side where its still farm land and actual lots. Its trully a nice location. Crime does not exist in my eyes throughout there. Its very well set up for familes and young professionals. And now everything twice as affordable. So when you look at a map...stick with south of 234. gainesville, bristow, nokesville, independent hill area. Dont go too far though towards the river or 95. then you hit sketchy triangle, dumfries area. Hope this helps...let me know if you have any more info.
