Yeah, I have lost hope for our country. I honestly know nothing about Barr or Nader and even if I did and liked one, neither is going to win the election. But I do know I have absolutely ZERO confidence in the democratic and republican candidates on the ballot. I cannot even say which would be the lesser of two evils.

my top choice is ron paul. Bob Barr is also someone i'd choose. Nader, Obama, McCain forget it.

It's not posted in the wrong forum if the OP wants to get results from Virginians only. If he were to post on the political board, he would get results from any and everybody. There are lots of posts on this board that really have nothing to do with Virginia but are posted by people who live in Virginia.

Just to head off any complications...
Let's keep the focus on present Northern Virginia residents who give a relatively simple answer (e.g. McCain, Obama or None of the Above) without a whole lot of expounding on political views. Long essays and/or personal attacks will not lengthen the life span of this thread as this type of subject matter is indeed most appropriate for the Politics and Other Controversies forum.
