Default New job in Manassas

My husband is considering a job in Manassas. We are from out of state and know very little about Virginia. What are some nice family friendly communities within 45 miles of Manassas. I have two elementary aged children. We would like to stay in the $400K range.

Did you mean 45 minutes? There are some houses in my community in Haymarket that are in the 400k range and about 20 minutes from Manassas. Have you tried realtor.com ? For the search enter zip code put in 20169. I forgot the Town of Haymarket (1 square mile) has their own police department, 2 day care facilities, 1 pre-school, 2 churches, 2 dry cleaners, 2 pizza places. Here's the website of the town The Town of Haymarket, Virginia .

Manassas itself is a nice place to live, as is Bristow, Gainesville, Fairfax, City of Manassas, Manassas Park, Woodbridge...

Another location to consider would be Centreville, It is a nice place to live also and is not far from Manassas. The school system is excellent (Fairfax County).
