Default Realtor recommendations for Sterling area

I'm looking for a realtor who knows how to deal with short sales and whatever else falls under that category. Any recommendations? I'd prefer someone who knows the Sterling area. Thanks!

I know Short Sales sound sexy and look like amazing deals, but too often they are just Fake. People think "Oh I can just be patient and get a great deal" but mathematically it could take you 4 years to close on a Short Sale. I recommend focusing on REO properties.

Frank is correct in stating that short sales can be very frustrating, often it takes the bank months to make a decision and you are on hold for the duration. In addition, short sales are often priced very low in an effort to prompt a bidding war and drive the price up. Stick with foreclosures, the bank already owns them and the process is much quicker. There are foreclosures in all areas of Sterling, Ashburn, and Leesburg. Remember you are buying a foreclosure "as is", no one is going to make repairs. You should have a home inspection by a picky inspector. There are plenty of well priced homes on the market without restricting yourself to foreclosures or short sales.
