Now, promise me that next time you'll use a Realtor. I am not fishing for business, I work in the Sterling/Herndon/Cascades/Ashburn area. Believe it or not, we do earn our money.

couldn't agree more. we used our realtor to build the home we just sold and we were so glad we did. he protected us, guided us in our selection choices and we sold in the bad market-mostly b/c of all of his help. ALWAYS use a realtor when buying new construction. I've said it before: not using one is like defending yourself in a murder trial...doubt you would do that!

Yes, I did cancel the contract by sending a notice of cancellation via fax and fedex just to have proof on the time/datestamp.

I am going to use a realtor from this point on. Enough is enough with all this headache to find a home from a builder. I am never sure if I am overpaying or not if I go there by myself. Anyone can recommend me good realtors that works for the Sterling/Herndon/Cascades/Ashburn (i.e Loudon County area)?
