Hi, we are looking for affordable handyman services such as installing wallshelves, mirrors, and ceiling lights. Any recommendations?

You might want to tell us your general location. Many self-employed are attempting to narrow their service area to save on gas.

I have used the Mr. Handyman company three times and they were excellent. They have coupons in those envelopes that come in the mail.

Don't know about an actual handyman, but we have a great electrician in Ashburn...Ashburn Electric. The owner is Craig and he installed two ceiling fans in our home, two in a friends, and three in my MIL's. Quiet but nice and does a good job. So for the lights he would be good.

I am a skilled carpenter with many years experience looking for side jobs for the weekends. I have my own tools and am easy to get along with. Would love to hear from you if you are still looking for help. Thanks Rob

Thanks Yankeesfan. I called one from the envelopes and one from the kingstowne newspaper a friend told me about and neither even returned my second call so I had stayed away from the envelopes after that. I will lok the next time they come in.
