I agree that would be a cRaZy commute.

My husband commutes from Leesburg to Bethesda and he leaves at 5:30 am in order to avoid traffic. He takes Rt 7 to Old Georgetown Pike to I495. Coming home is another story. Minimum 1 hr 15 mins. Not too bad but Haymarket would probably add another 30 minutes or more.

If you decide to move to Montgomery Co (germantown or gaithersburg) be sure to stay on the WEST side of I270. I lived in Montgomery Co for 17 years and I am happy I have moved!
